Major Angelo Ogbonna worry as West Ham star goes off with new knee injury during European clash with Anderlecht.
Italian Ogbonna has been a huge player for West Ham since signing from Juventus.
So his absence for almost a year following a serious ACL injury last November was felt deeply.
Hammers manager David Moyes made a big injury claim about Ogbonna ahead of the match against Anderlecht on Thursday night, highlighting his importance to the team.

The 34-year-old has been drip-fed back into the action this season, having spent over nine months on the sidelines.
Moyes told reporters that Ogbonna’s absence was a big reason behind his side’s struggles post-November last year (WHUFC.com).
Now there is a major Ogbonna worry as the West Ham star goes off with a new knee injury during the European clash with Anderlecht.
Ogbonna looked crestfallen as he stayed on the floor holding his knee.
West Ham’s physio came rushing on an put Ogbonna through a series of stress tests on his knee which will have brought back painful memories of that game against Liverpool when he was injured last year.
That day Ogbonna actually played on for a while but this time around – hopefully as a precaution – the West Ham stalwart was substituted and went straight down the tunnel to be assessed.
We can only hope it is nothing too serious.
But given the fact he has been tentatively making a comeback from that ACL injury, it is only natural West Ham fans will be fearing the worst.
Supporters will be waiting for an update from the club in the coming days as it is unlikely Moyes will be able to offer much insight post match as it would be far too soon – unless of course it was merely precaution.

With a knee injury, if there are concerns from the player and physios, then it will likely require a scan to assess any damage.
The Hammers do have £30m summer signing Nayef Aguerd making his own recovery from an ankle operation.
The Moroccan was signed as Ogbonna’s long-term successor. But he is not expected to be fit until the end of the month as the very earliest.
We’ll all be keeping everything crossed that it’s nothing too bad for one our big leaders Ogbonna.
