West Ham United boss David Moyes suggested that he thinks Jesse Lingard was just suffering from cramp at the end of the game against Newcastle, as quoted by Football.London.

The 28-year-old had one of his quieter games for the Hammers today since moving to the London Stadium on loan from Manchester United in January.
Lingard did score his ninth goal in just 10 games for West Ham, however, after converting from the spot.

The 27-capped England international has been sensational for us over the past two months or so.
He has totally transformed the way in which we attack as a team.
The hard task for West Ham now will be to sign him permanently in the summer.
Jesse Lingard injury update
The 28-year-old went down late in the game against Newcastle this afternoon.
David Moyes doesn’t think it was too serious though, as quoted by Football.London:

“I think it was just cramp but I have not had a chance to speak to the physio but I don’t think it was too bad.”
Next weekend’s game at home to Chelsea is now a must win.
Certainly if we are to qualify for the Champions League this season.
Let’s hope that Jesse Lingard is fit and raring to go. Judging by Moyes’s comments, he will be just fine for the huge clash with Chelsea.
