West Ham fans react to Diafra Sakho post

Diafra Sakho posted a picture yesterday inside his West Ham memorabilia adorned house, and some Hammers fans took to Twitter in reaction to the post.

The 30-year-old scored 24 goals in 71 games for the Hammers during a three-and-a-half year spell in east London (Transfermarkt).

He always worked his socks off for West Ham, but his reputation was sullied when he constantly angled for a move away from the club and was subsequently moved on in January 2018, joining Rennes for around £9 million (The Daily Mail).

The 13-capped Senegal international is now available on a free transfer, having been released by the Ligue 1 outfit in December.

The striker was like marmite at West Ham

Sakho was an extremely divisive figure in east London. Some fans loved him and some fans just thought he was lazy and overpaid.

The 30-year-old clearly still has a place in his heart for West Ham, however. He posted the below picture yesterday:
