West Ham United have begun the season terribly, and Julen Lopetegui and Tim Steidten have both received huge criticism as a result.
Julen Lopetegui arrived at West Ham in the summer just gone, 12 months after Tim Steidten moved to the London Stadium.
However, neither have impressed really have they? And it has been claimed that there is friction between Lopetegui and Steidten behind the scenes.
Incredibly, West Ham have actually regressed this season.
That’s remarkable really when you think about it, given the amount of top-class players that arrived at that London Stadium in the summer.

Lopetegui is under huge pressure in his role as head coach, whilst Steidten’s job is said to be under scrutiny as well.
Now the Spaniard and the German could have even more work to do in the January transfer window.
Potential West Ham exits a blessing in disguise
Lopetegui and Steidten have to be ruthless with players who want out over the next couple of windows.
I actually think that some players who are pushing for an exit aren’t good enough for West Ham anyway, so it could end up being a blessing in disguise for us.
And Lopetegui and Steidten need to act in January.
Edson Alvarez hasn’t stopped talking about his desire to make a move to a Champions League club recently.
Meanwhile, Guido Rodriguez is said to be unhappy at the London Stadium right now.
And finally, Niclas Fullkrug has endured a horror start to his Hammers career, and he could be set for an early exit.
All three players have flattered to deceive since joining West Ham.

And I think the course of action should be obvious for the Hammers transfer team.
Lopetegui and Steidten should sell Hammers trio
Alvarez has been a liability for us recently, with his lack of discipline.
Meanwhile, Fullkrug and Rodriguez are clearly not suited to the Premier League.
So the Hammers should sell all three players in January. I’m sure we’d be able to raise in excess of £50 million for the trio.
That money could then be put towards signing a proper striker with explosive pace, and a powerful, energetic and athletic ball carrying central midfielder.
Despite the huge overhaul in the summer, the Hammers squad is still in desperate need of attention, and that’s not acceptable really after nine new signings were made.
David Sullivan will surely not give Steidten too many more chances to impress in the transfer market, whilst it has been well documented that Lopetegui’s future is far from certain.
If Alvarez, Rodriguez and Fullkrug do leave the club in January, or next summer, it might well give the Spaniard and the German the chance to atone for the previous errors they made in the transfer market.
