Graham Potter will get on the wrong side of West Ham fans real quick if he continues to play £21 million Hammer

The West Ham United fans are growing tired of Graham Potter’s persistent use of one player in particular.

Graham Potter took over at West Ham back in early January, but it’s been tough going since then.

The Hammers head coach is said to be desperate to oversee a huge squad revamp at West Ham this summer.

And boy do the Hammers need that.

However, West Ham’s problems run far deeper than purely just the players right now.

Sure, many of them aren’t fit to wear the shirt, but Potter has to stop getting some big decisions wrong.

Graham Potter cannot keep starting Konstantinos Mavropanos for West Ham

The Hammers signed Konstaninos Mavropanos from Stuttgart back in the summer of 2023.

However, the 27-year-old has proven to be a terrible addition for us.

West Ham paid £21 million to sign Konstantinos Mavropanos, and that now looks like a terrible deal.

The Greece international was handed a start against Wolves, whilst Jean-Clair Todibo had to make do with a place on the bench.

Mavropanos was incredibly poor once again, and the question has to be asked – what on earth does Potter see in him?

The former Stuttgart and Arsenal man is a disaster waiting to happen every single time he takes to the pitch.

Graham Potter may have let slip that Mavropanos will be sold

The Hammers head coach was speaking after our 1-1 draw with Everton on March 15th.

Potter said he selected Mavropanos for the Everton clash because of his physicality.

However, the big Greek centre-back was to blame for Everton’s equaliser, after he was bullied by Jake O’Brien.

If physicality is the only string Mavropanos has to his bow, then he’s in real trouble.

Graham Potter needs to wise up to the fact that the West Ham defender is simply not very good, and fast.
