David Moyes has only signed Alphonse Areola so far, not including a plethora of additions for the under-23 side.

5 things for West Ham fans to be positive about

Talented crop of youngsters

Moyes has some seriously exciting young players on his hands at the London Stadium.

Aji Alese, Jamal Baptiste, Emmanuel Longelo, Joseph Anang, Conor Coventry, Pierre Ekwah Elimby, Armstrong Okoflex and Mipo Odubeko are all precocious talents.

Sure, they won’t be quite ready for action this season but we should all be confident that the club is in good hands for the future.

Said Benrahma

The 25-year-old winger struggled to settle at the London Stadium last season.

It seems as though he could have a key role to play for West Ham this term, however. Benrahma has looked really bright during pre-season and if the Algerian produces the goods in the Premier League, the Hammers fans will quickly forget about Jesse Lingard.

The big Frenchman is a hugely exciting addition for the Hammers. The 28-year-old will undoubtedly go on to become our number one goalkeeper.

And the thought of seeing Areola in action this season is a really exciting one.

Declan Rice

So it seems as though the 22-year-old will be staying at the London Stadium for at least one more season (Matt Law).

Dec is such a hugely important player for Moyes. So keeping him in East London this summer will be crucial.

The England international is fully committed to West Ham. He’s not the sort of player to start doing what one of his international teammates is currently doing in north London…

We should all be really grateful that we have Declan Rice.

Fans back inside the London Stadium

Ok so this is a huge one for all West Ham fans.

Who wouldn’t be excited to get back inside the London Stadium at full capacity?

Last season’s sixth placed finish has led to much excitement amongst the fanbase with Europa League football on the horizon this season.

2021/22 could be a very special season indeed.
