West Ham signed Edson Alvarez earlier in the summer transfer window, and Mohammed Kudus is set to join the Mexican imminently from Ajax.

Hammers boss David Moyes appears to be edging ever closer to making his fourth signing of the summer.

The Hammers fans are already excited about the imminent arrival of the Ghanaian, but Alvarez’s comments from back in 2020 should ramp up that excitement…
What Edson Alvarez said about Mohammed Kudus in 2020 should seriously excite the West Ham fans
The Mexico and Ghana internationals spent three years playing together at Ajax, and they should soon be linking up together for the Hammers.
Back in 2020, Alvarez absolutely raved about Kudus, as quoted by Ghana Soccernet:

“Mo Kudus has everything in my opinion. I think he is our best player right now.”
The 23-year-old joined Ajax in the summer of 2020 from Nordsjaelland.
Alvarez made those comments above back in September 2020, so Kudus obviously made a huge impression with the Dutch giants after just one or two months at the club.
It proves what an unbelievable talent he is – those comments were made when he was just 20 remember!
I for one cannot wait to see Edson Alvarez and Mohammed Kudus link up together for West Ham.
