There was high drama late on as West Ham United beat Fulham 1-0 at the London Stadium on Saturday night.

Former West Ham midfielder Diego Poyet is unrecognisable and fans can’t believe it

After toiling for a goal throughout, West Ham finally scored in the 91st minute through Tomas Soucek.

But in the dying seconds of the four minutes added on, Fulham were awarded a penalty after the referee was sent to the monitor by VAR.

Ademola Lookman opted for a Panenka style penalty. But his execution was off and Lukasz Fabianski gratefully collected the ball to secure all three points for West Ham.

Masuaku highlights brilliant Benrahma moment after Fulham penalty miss

It is what West Ham star Arthur Masuaku noticed after that moment which had many fans in stitches, though.

Benrahma had come on as a late sub for Pablo Fornals. And he made an impact, almost scoring himself before setting up Soucek’s winner.

But the Algerian also nearly cost West Ham as it was he that gave away the last gasp penalty.

Benrahma wasn’t satisfied, though. He wanted more.

‘Damn my brother’

As highlighted when Masuaku posted a picture on social media which shows Benrahma sprinting off and screaming at Fabianski for the ball to launch a counter attack.

Many West Ham fans also picked up on the moment with video footage from the incident posted on Twitter.

While West Ham’s players were celebrating the penalty miss with Fabianski, Benrahma was on his bike looking to get another goal.

“Damn my brother was already gone for the second goal 😂😂😂 @Benrahma2 ❤️⚒,” Masuaku said on Twitter.

“Yo where is Benrahma running too😂😂,” posted a West Ham fan alongside footage of the brilliant moment.

A glimpse of Benrahma’s huge desire

It tells you everything you need to know about Benrahma’s desire. He wanted more and he clearly wants to make a real impact at West Ham.

Hammers fans seeing that will be thinking ‘he’ll do for me’.

And after his productive start to life with the east Londoners, he may well do for David Moyes too.

That’s despite doubts whether Benrahma could work hard enough defensively to get in a Moyes side.
