The Czech Republic international joined the Hammers from Slavia Prague in the summer transfer window for around £5.4 million (BBC).
Coufal has already firmly established himself as a real fan favourite at the London Stadium.

The 28-year-old has been superb for West Ham this season. What a superb signing from David Moyes!
In 22 Premier League games for the Hammers, the Czech ace has averaged 2.7 tackles, 1.3 interceptions and 2.5 clearances per game. He has also registered three assists and made an average of 1.3 key passes per match (Who Scored).
Coufal has taken the Premier League by storm. It could be argued that he is the signing of the season so far.
The former Salvia Prague ace has totally transformed the way we defend as a team. His winning mentality and never say die attitude has rubbed off on his teammates.

West Ham staff blown away by Vladimir Coufal dedication
The 28-year-old works incredibly hard.
And the Athletic claims that the staff at the Hammers’ Rush Green training ground often joke with the Czech ace that he should be spending more time with his wife and kids!
What a great example Coufal must be setting for West Ham’s younger players.
He is obviously a great player and person to have around the place. And £5.4 million for his services now seems like an absolute bargain for West Ham.
