West Ham player risks wrath of fans and likes Marcus Rashford Instagram post after Manchester United defeat

West Ham youngster Mipo Odubeko took to Instagram last night and liked a celebration message posted by Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.

Rashford scored a late winner for Manchester United against the Hammers at Old Trafford yesterday.

It really was a heartbreaking ending to the game. We didn’t deserve to win the match, we were incredibly poor in the final third. We certainly didn’t deserve to lose it either though.

West Ham have to wait two weeks now before we play again, and that’s probably a good thing. The players all look shattered and the break now should enable the club to put their full focus into getting some top quality transfers over the line before the January window slams shut.

Yesterday’s defeat to Manchester United will still be a hard one to take for the West Ham fans, however, and the players of course…all apart from one…

West Ham players likes Rashford post after Manchester United heartache

After Marcus Rashford won the game for Man United in stoppage time, he took to Instagram to post a celebratory picture.

And it won’t surprise the Hammers fans which player liked the 24-year-old’s Insta post:

Odubeko has previous doing this sort of thing.

He risked the wrath of the West Ham fans back in September, goading us on social media after Jesse Lingard scored the winner for Manchester United at the London Stadium.

The ill-advised 19-year-old responded to Lingard’s Instagram story, calling the former West Ham loanee the ‘goat’ just after he’d scored against the club that pays his wages!

West Ham brought the 19-year-old to the London Stadium from Manchester United in October 2019.

He arrived in East London with a big reputation of scoring goals at youth level.

Mipo really hasn’t established himself with West Ham whatsoever though.

The young striker struggled during a loan spell with Huddersfield Town during the first half of the season and returned to the London Stadium earlier this month.

Odubeko clearly has issues with where he is in his career at the moment. David Moyes obviously isn’t a fan of the youngster.

He would have given him a chance at senior level if he was. It was only last season when Moyes brought the 19-year-old on away at Old Trafford and then took him off again just 20 minutes later.

And after his antics on Instagram last night when he liked Marcus Rashford’s post after Manchester United won the game at the death, he surely faces a bleak future at West Ham.
