West Ham United are planning for our long-term future with a move for Napoli Director of Football Cristiano Giuntoli.

That’s according to a report from Calciomercato.it who claim that the Hammers are ‘strongly interested’ in bringing the 50-year-old Italian to the London Stadium.

It seems as though the Hammers hierarchy are really keen to add another top talent spotter to their ranks though.

And someone who has been working miracles in Italy is on our radar…

West Ham eye Napoli Director of Football Cristiano Giuntoli

According to a report from Calciomercato.it, the Hammers are really interested in bringing the 50-year-old to the London Stadium.

What an unreal appointment this would be for the club.

Giuntoli is responsible for signings like Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Giacomo Raspadori, Min-Jae Kim, Victor Osimhen and Piotr Zielinski.

All of those players are well on the way to becoming elite, if they aren’t already.

I would absolutely love Napoli Director of Football Cristiano Giuntoli to come to West Ham.

Quite where that would leave the likes of Noble and Newman remains to be seen. Im not too bothered in all honesty though.

If the Hammers manage to snap up Giuntoli, we will be seriously going places.

Whether we are able to prise him away from Napoli though remains to be seen.
