According to Claret and Hugh, David Moyes is prepared to sell West Ham winger Felipe Anderson for around £27 million this summer.

The Brazilian really struggled for form last season, with just one goal and four assists to his name in 25 Premier League games for the Hammers.

After initially impressing with West Ham, the 27-year-old now finds himself as someone who is far from guaranteed a first-team spot under David Moyes at the London Stadium.

Anderson’s form has nose-dived, but more concerning than that has been his effort and commitment over the past six months or so.

Potential £15 million loss on Felipe?

The two-capped Brazil international joined the Hammers from Lazio for around £42 million in the summer of 2018 (Football.London).

He certainly hasn’t lived up to that price-tag, and with Moyes in desperate need of raising some cash to fund a summer spending spree of his own, Anderson seems to be a likely candidate for the chop.

Claret and Hugh reckon that the West Ham boss is willing to sell the 27-year-old for around £27 million this summer.

That would represent a £15 million loss for the east London outfit.

But in the current climate, it wouldn’t actually be terrible business from the Hammers.

Especially if it helps David Moyes strengthen his squad in other areas this summer.
