West Ham appear to have just dropped a big hint over Flynn Downes ahead of the latest European clash with a heavy focus on the midfielder in a training video.
West Ham made eight signings over the summer and the one they got over the line quickest was that of Downes.
Snatching the midfielder from under the noses of Crystal Palace was seen as a real coup for the Hammers.
Downes, a boyhood Hammer, was a rare example of West Ham getting a deal done quickly and efficiently during a window where most transfers seemed to be a bit of a saga.
There are high hopes for Downes but he has found game time hard to come by.

But the 23-year-old looked to have announced himself as a West Ham player with a man of the match display in the Europa Conference League win over FCSB.
Some fans were left puzzled, though, when Downes was left out in the next European game against Silkeborg.
With a hugely important game against Fulham in the Premier League this Sunday, Moyes must decide how best to utilise his much-improved squad.
West Ham have just dropped a big hint over Flynn Downes ahead of European clash with heavy focus on midfielder in training video
Many supporters hope that will mean another run out for the £13m man against Anderlecht on Thursday night.
And West Ham appear to have just dropped a big hint over Downes ahead of the European clash with heavy focus on the midfielder in a new training video.
West Ham have posted a video on social media from Wednesday’s training session at Rush Green.

In the 1min 23secs of footage, Downes features prominently with the camera trained on the rarely seen Hammers midfielder during the opening 10 seconds and three or four times thereafter.
Downes was training alongside captain Declan Rice.
And West Ham fans watching the footage will be left thinking that could be the midfield pairing in Belgium on Thursday night.
If Downes puts in a performance of the level he did against FCSB then he may just start putting pressure on Tomas Soucek in the not too distant future.
