West Ham fans will be furious with a social media post from Jamie Carragher ahead of the Bournemouth clash on Monday night.
West Ham welcome Bournemouth to the London Stadium knowing a win will propel them up into 10th place and within striking distance of the European spots.
That in itself will be quite an achievement given West Ham’s dismal start to this season.
The Hammers vs Cherries match is the Monday Night Football game on Sky Sports.

The Monday Night Football show is well known for its in-depth analysis from Carragher and Gary Neville.
Given West Ham spent £170m on eight quality signings over the summer and this will be the club’s first appearance on MNF this season, one would expect the Hammers to feature heavily in that analysis.
Particularly given David Moyes’ side are at home against one of the lesser clubs in the top flight.
But West Ham fans will be furious with a Jamie Carragher social media post ahead of the Bournemouth clash.

Ahead of MNF matches, Sky Sports pundit Carragher does a poll on Twitter asking fans what topics they want to see discussed most on the show.
In fairness to Carragher he always talks highly of the Hammers as a club and is a huge fan and champion of Declan Rice.
But in the list of topics to be discussed not one is about West Ham.
“MNF topics for tonight, what do you want most?” Carragher has asked on Twitter.
“Nottingham Forest, Howe and NUFC, Aston Villa, O’Neil & Bournemouth.”
Of course West Ham fans would not expect the entire show to focus on them.
And Sky Sports will have to – whether they want to or not – discuss the Hammers at some point during the coverage.
But for there not to be one topic on West Ham among the options to be discussed in-depth is laughable.
At the time of writing Newcastle fans have clearly been spamming the poll with ‘Howe and NUFC’ well out in front.

Carragher and Neville should take it as a compliment that West Ham fans want to see them dissect the goings-on in east London.
This is a real slap in the face, though. And it is a poor showing from Sky Sports.
There are a host of West Ham-related subjects fans would love to see tackled by Carragher and co.
A look at West Ham’s summer business, why the Hammers are struggling to score goals as freely as they once did under Moyes, what represents success for the club this season, the ownership situation amid rumours of interest from Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the claims from Moyes that his side are the club most negatively impacted by VAR, the penalty taker situation, the potential partnership between Gianluca Scamacca and Lucas Paqueta, Jarrod Bowen’s England chances, Mark Noble’s impending return as Sporting Director – need we go on?
