Video: West Ham fans will absolutely love what Nikola Vlasic did on the touchline when Jarrod Bowen scored against Everton

Nikola Vlasic has received plenty of stick from some West Ham fans this season but his passion and commitment to the club cannot be faulted.

Vlasic joined the Hammers from CSKA Moscow last summer for around £33 million (Evening Standard).

The 24-year-old has really struggled to establish himself at the London Stadium but in all fairness to him, he hasn’t really been given much of a chance to prove himself in the Claret and Blue.

The Croatia international has been given just 1533 minutes spread over 33 appearances (Transfermarkt). That works out at an average of just 46 minutes per game.

Vlasic clearly hasn’t impressed David Moyes so far on the pitch. But he does show a lot of love for the football club even when he’s not playing.

Hopefully he’s just taking longer to settle in to life in the Premier League than some players do and we will see the best of him next season.

The former CSKA Moscow man is obviously a very emotive person.

He has been seen celebrating wildly on the touchline when his teammates have scored goals in the past.

And Vlasic was at it again when Bowen put West Ham 2-1 up against Everton on Sunday:

That’s great to see. It proves that Vlasic cares about West Ham.

It can’t be easy for him being left on the bench and barely coming on.

The 24-year-old obviously has a lot of passion for the Hammers. And that attitude may well be enough to keep him around at the London Stadium beyond the end of this season.

Vlasic may well still have a lot to offer West Ham. Next season will be a huge one for him and if he can produce the goods on the pitch, he may well be the next cult hero at the London Stadium.
