West Ham United fans have spotted something rather unusual about a post from Angelo Ogbonna ahead of today’s game against Manchester City.
Payet without the flair? Player who snubbed West Ham for Prem rivals already dreaming of move
West Ham go into the game actually sitting above Manchester City in the league table for a change.
The Hammers are in fine form. David Moyes seems to be onto something with the new wingback formation.
And the results show real progress too. West Ham were desperately unlucky not to beat Arsenal before hammering Wolves 4-0, beating Leicester 3-0 and coming back from 3-0 down against Spurs to draw 3-3.

Happy Hammers get ready for City
A win for West Ham could push them into the Champions League spots in the fledgling table.
Man City are the visitors, though, and West Ham are well used to taking a beating from Pep Guardiola’s side.
Make no mistake Moyes’s side will still need to produce their very best to get a result.
But confidence is high.
Moyes has a fully fit squad to choose from. But according to Angelo Ogbonna’s pre-match training photo, the Scot has one extra player to pick from, Jack Wilshere!

West Ham fans spot Wilshere in Oggie’s “pre Man City” training picture
On Friday, ahead of today’s game against City, fan favourite Ogbonna posted two pictures from training on Twitter saying: “Preparation continues.”
But West Ham fans were quick to spot that Wilshere, who had his contract terminated earlier this month, is in one of the pictures.
Wilshere can be seen in West Ham training gear jogging in the background.

Ogbonna clearly used an old training photo for his update.
But Hammers fans saw the funny side.
Wilshere is definitely not training with West Ham.
In fact the injury-prone midfielder has come in for some flak since leaving after a series of interviews criticising West Ham for not playing him more.
That’s despite the fact he admitted himself he had only got himself fit during lockdown – when no matches were being played.
