The Hammers have a bad history with some of their shirt sponsors over the past 10 years or so.
Basset and Gold not the first…
XL, SBO Bet and Alpari have all gone into administration in recent years.
In fairness to Basset and Gold, however, you can’t help but think the recent global pandemic has played a big part in their fall from grace.
West Ham will now have to go on the hunt for a new sleeve sponsor. Although these will be incredibly hard times to find a company or business who has the finances at their disposal to sponsor the Hammers.
Hopefully the spread of this horrendous virus slows down sooner rather than later and we can get back to some kind of normality.
You really do have to feel for established firms like Basset and Gold.
