West Ham played away at Ipswich Town in a pre-season friendly today, and some Hammers fans raved about the performance of talented youngster Aji Alese.

The 19-year-old centre-back is very highly rated in east London.
And with David Moyes surely on the look-out for a new centre-back this summer, perhaps he might not have to invest any money.
Alese really does look like the total package.
The teenager played 14 games on loan in League One with Accrington Stanley last season. And he really impressed for the Accy.
Standing at 6ft 3in tall, the London born defender is strong and commanding in the air. The 19-year-old has bundles of pace and his coolness and composure when in possession really is very impressive for someone so young.
Alese’s range of passing with his excellent left-foot is also something to behold.
Unfortunately for the youngster, he had to be substituted off after 55 minutes after suffering an injury against the Tractor Boys.
West Ham have a rich history of bringing young and talented homegrown players through their ranks. You need look no further than the likes of Rio Ferdinand, Joe Cole, Michael Carrick, Frank Lampard and Declan Rice.
And perhaps Alese is the latest one off the conveyor belt.
