The former Hammer is desperately trying to resurrect his career. Unfortunately for him, however, due to an issue with his passport now that the UK has left the EU, he is unable to sign for the second division Italian side.
Whether he is able to find a way to circumnavigate that issue remains to be seen.
Either way, his fall from grace really has been spectacular and very sad to see at the same time.
RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.
After leaving West Ham last October, the injury prone midfielder said he would be silly to sign for a team in a similar position to West Ham, when speaking to the Super 6 podcast:
“With my experience now, I’d be silly to sign for a team in a similar position to West Ham. When there is a relegation battle, teams want to nick a point, nick a goal and try and defend. That’s not the type of player I am. I want to enjoy my football.”
Wilshere ended up joining Championship club Bournemouth, however! He was then released by them and has been without a club since, before joining up to train with Como. Oh the irony!
West Ham fans react as Jack Wilshere trains with Como
The former Arsenal midfielder will surely be ruing the comments he made about the Hammers last year.
