ExWHUemployee has repeatedly claimed that West Ham are after the 28-year-old centre-back.
The the Daily Mirror (Tuesday August 4th, page 46) claimed that the Hammers are leading the race for Duffy.
And the Daily Record claimed last week that David Moyes is ready to spend £5 million to bring the 33-capped Republic of Ireland international to the London Stadium.
The Scot desperately needs to sign some new defenders this summer. And the addition of an established centre-back will be vital.
Angelo Ogbonna was brilliant last season, but he will be 33 next year. Meanwhile, Issa Diop, Winston Reid and Fabian Balbuena all face uncertain futures in east London.
And Duffy would be a very welcome addition at West Ham.

The 28-year-old made 19 Premier League appearances for the Seagulls this season, scoring one goal in the process (Who Scored).
In those outings, he averaged 0.9 tackles, 1.1 interceptions and 3.7 clearances per game. Duffy also won 3.7 aerial duals on average per game in those appearances (Who Scored).
The Irishman is proven at the very highest level, and if the Hammers can pick him up for a bargain fee, he would surely be a good signing for us.
