West Ham fans took to Twitter in reaction to yesterday’s draw with Southampton and praised Nikola Vlasic after the Croatian made his debut for the club.

The Hammers earned a draw against the Saints in the end and a point was a fair result.

David Moyes would not have been happy with the way in which the West Ham players went about their business yesterday.

It was one of our worst performances of the season.

Nikola Vlasic was a real bright spark, however.

The 23-year-old joined the Hammers on transfer deadline day for around £31 million. He was handed a five-year £70k-a-week contract (ExWHUemployee).


And it looks like West Ham have a real player on their hands.

The Croatia international showed real class against Southampton yesterday.

Vlasic has great movement, exceptional technical ability and he proved yesterday that he is capable of holding up the ball with his back to goal.

The former CASK Moscow ace will undoubtedly go on to enjoy a prosperous career at the London Stadium.
