It really should not have even been a debate.

Antonio bagged four goals and three assists in three games for the Hammers.

The West Ham fans know all too well how the Premier League favour the big clubs, however, and it would have been no surprise to see someone like Mason Greenwood win the accolade.

Micky has been quite simply sensational for West Ham since football resumed after the first nationwide lockdown.

Antonio is loved by David Moyes as well – he is undoubtedly one of the first names on the Scot’s team-sheet.

Let’s just hope that Micky stays fit between now and the end of the season, because without him, we are a completely different team.

The 31-year-old has been rewarded for his fine start to the season with the Player of the Month award. Now let’s hope that he keeps pushing on.
