The Hammers desperately need to bolster their centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
Sebastien Haller and Xande Silva are currently the only recognised strikers at West Ham. And that really isn’t good enough with just four days remaining until the new Premier League campaign kicks off.
Taking that into consideration, Brewster would be an excellent option for West Ham.
And we should have a genuine chance of prising him away from Anfield, with Jurgen Klopp allegedly willing to sanction the 20-year-old’s exit.
His £20 million price-tag may prove to be problematic for the Hammers, however. Although a move to sign Brewster on loan is not out of the question.
The young striker spent the second half of last season on loan with Swansea. And he really impressed with the Welsh club, racking up 11 goals in 22 outings (Transfermarkt).
The Liverpool forward, who was born in Chadwell Heath, has bags of pace and possesses great mobility. His movement is really impressive and he would provide West Ham with a completely different option this term.
