Some West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to beg David Moyes to sign Bournemouth hitman Josh King before next week’s deadline.
In other news…Report: West Ham could try and sign £5 million-rated 24-year-old star
The Hammers have been left short in the centre-forward department.
We sold Albian Ajeti and Jordan Hugill earlier on in the transfer window and on deadline day the decision was made to send Xande Silva out on loan.
That leaves just Michail Antonio and Sebastien Haller as the only recognised striker options at the London Stadium.

It could also be argued that the Frenchman is not suited at all to leading the line on his own in our new found 5-4-1/3-4-3 system.
So if Antonio suffers a serious injury, we could be in real trouble this season.
And Bournemouth striker Josh King would be the ideal option for West Ham.
The Hammers were considering a move for the Norwegian hitman back in August, according to a report from the Mirror (August 21st, page 59).
The Sun reported in August that the Cherries won’t sell the 28-year-old for anything less than £25 million, however.

Stats
King racked up six goals and four assists in 26 Premier League games last season (Who Scored).
In those outings, the 28-year-old averaged one shot, 1.2 key passes and two dribbles per game. He also won an average of 2.3 aerial duals per game (Who Scored).
He is an incredibly hard worker, has plenty of energy and stamina, and would be the ideal man to provide competition for West Ham’s current forwards.
And some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter, urging David Moyes to bring King to the London Stadium…
Josh King. Available cheap. Versatile forward – can play RW, ST, LW. Fits Moyes’ mould of a quick striker that can make runs in-behind. Would be good back-up for Antonio.

We should be calling Bournemouth every hour to get this deal done.

One of the most sensible names I’ve seen. Would actually mean we have back up that maintains our system which we’ve not had for years. Doubt he’s in our price range though ?

Couldn’t agree more! He’d have been a good signing regardless of our joke of a deadline day.
— David Smith (@davehammer1984) October 6, 2020
We should be all over this but we won’t as Bournemouth will want payin something our owners don’t want to do #GSBOUT

The deal makes a lot of sense considering the blind spot with Haller.

Exactly the type of signing that makes sense. Get it done…but we won’t

Would be a brilliant signing. We know not the youngest but neither is Benrahma. He has scored goals in the PL and would fit us well

Would be a wicked signing for us
