Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to bolster his ranks at the London Stadium after a disappointing transfer deadline day.
And the Scot has just 10 days left to do it.
West Ham desperately need to sign a centre-back and a centre-midfielder. But everyone seems to be overlooking our problems in the left wing-back position.
With our new 5-4-1/3-4-3 formation, Arthur Masuaku has really flourished at left wing-back. But if the 26-year-old suffers a serious injury, we will have real problems.
The Daily Mirror claims that QPR ace Ryan Manning is still on the Hammers’ radar.
And the 24-year-old would be a truly excellent addition for us.
Stats
Manning racked up four goals and seven assists in 41 Championship games for QPR last season (Who Scored). So he is clearly a very attacking left-back.
In those outings, the Irishman averaged two tackles, 1.4 interceptions and 1.7 clearances per game (Who Scored).
And Football Insider claims that Manning could be available for just £5 million – an absolute bargain considering his talent.
The QPR ace would strengthen our left-back options considerably.
And for just £5 million, Moyes bringing him to West Ham seems to be an absolute no-brainer.
