The Scot has actually been a vitally important player for Hammers boss Moyes. That is in spite of his limited skills as a footballer.

That is probably a bit harsh on the 32-year-old.

His set-pieces are second to none. And West Ham have really missed Snodgrass since the restart.

Claret and Hugh claims that the Scottish midfielder could be set to return for the Hammers ‘ clash with Watford next Friday, however.

Snodgrass has racked up five goals and five assists in 24 Premier League games for West Ham this season. And only 17 those appearances have been starts (Who Scored).

He has been involved in more goals than any other Hammers player this season. So his importance to David Moyes’ team cannot be underestimated.

The Scot will be delighted to be able to call upon the Scot’s set-piece ability and composure in possession once again for his side’s final three games of the season.

Having him back in time for next week’s clash with Watford will be a huge boost for Moyes.
