Some West Ham fans questioned the decision to sign Jesse.
But my word has he already proved a few people wrong.

The Manchester United ace was absolutely superb from the very first minute up until the last.
Lingard made West Ham tick and he will surely play a huge role for us this season.
What was most impressive about the 24-capped England international’s debut was the manner in which he linked up with Said Benrahma and Michail Antonio.
Lingard seemed to have a telepathic understanding with the West Ham duo – no mean feat considering he’s only been at the London Stadium for just under a week.
