David Moyes will surely be keen to bolster his left-back department this summer.
Aaron Cresswell isn’t the player he once was. And Arthur Masuaku clearly isn’t good enough to be playing for a Premier League side with any kind of ambition.
And Football.London claims that West Ham boss could move to solve that problem by bringing in Layvin Kuzawa on a free transfer this summer.
FC Inter news claims that the 27-year-old will demand wages in the region of £100,000 per week.
That is obviously a lot of money, but his availability on a free transfer still makes him a potential bargain.
Stats
The 27-year-old is a top talent, and in 14 Ligue 1 outings for PSG this season, he has averaged 1.6 tackles, 1.3 interceptions and 1.1 clearances (Who Scored).
Kurzawa is a real threat going forward. He has 21 assists and 13 goals in 123 appearances for PSG (Transfermarkt).
The 13-capped France international is a truly top player. His attitude has been called into question on more than one occasion in the past, however.
West Ham won’t have things all their own way either. Football.London suggest that Arsenal and Chelsea want Kurzawa as well.
