West Ham fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to Pablo Fornals suggesting that he was desperate to get back involved with pre-season training during his summer break.

The Spaniard is a hugely popular figure at the London Stadium and is a vital player for David Moyes.

He joined the Hammers from Villarreal in the summer of 2019 for around £25 million (Telegraph).

Fornals has gone on to rack up 10 goals and 10 assists in games for West Ham (Transfermarkt).

It is the 25-year-old’s incredible work-rate that the Hammers fans appreciate the most, however.

He really does love the football club. Fornals an adopted Cockney!

 

The Spaniard spoke to WHUFC.com and highlighted how much he missed being with his Hammers teammates during the summer break:

“I was at home (over the summer) just thinking ‘I want to be with my teammates, and I want to be on the pitch.”

We should all consider ourselves very lucky to have a player like the Spaniard amounts our ranks.
