West Ham fans were very impressed by the performance of Armstrong Okoflex during tonight’s friendly clash with Reading.

Hammers boss David Moyes brought the 19-year-old to the London Stadium from Celtic this summer.

The teenager was initially expected to be playing for the under-23’s during this upcoming season.

The former Celtic ace has really impressed during pre-season so far, however.

And now Moyes must be considering promoting him to the West Ham first-team for the Premier League season ahead.

Okoflex certainly has something about him.


He has impressive physical capabilities and his technique is top class as well.

The 19-year-old looked the business against the Royals tonight.

If there is one criticism of his game it is that he often chooses the safe pass. He could reach new levels with more progressive passing. That will come in time and with experience, however.

He certainly has given Moyes food for thought ahead of the new season.

His display tonight was further evidence of his quality.
