Felipe Anderson scored his second goal in two games for Lazio yesterday afternoon since making his move from West Ham.
The Italian giants won 11-0 in a pre-season friendly against A.C. Belluno 1905!
The 28-year-old winger left the London Stadium to link up with his former club last week for around £4.2 million according to Tutto Mercato Web.
It wasn’t a shock that Anderson was sold whatsoever.
The Brazilian has been incredibly poor over the past 18 months. And he isn’t a David Moyes type player at all.
Felipe Anderson scores again for Lazio
Despite his struggles with the Hammers it will surprise nobody if he tears it up at Lazio again.
Anderson is a player who thrives on confidence. He will be given the role of the main man once again in the Italian capital.
And that may well be what he needs in order to spark his career back into life.
The South American has certainly began his second spell with Lazio in fine form. He scored a penalty at the weekend. The 28-year-old then bagged again yesterday during an 11-0 pre-season win for the Serie A outfit.
This time, it was a really good goal:
The 28-year-old’s time at West Ham was tainted by the last 18 months he spent in East London.
We wish him all the best with Lazio. That doesn’t mean that it won’t be incredibly frustrating for the West Ham fans if he proves to be a real hit at the Olympic Stadium once again, however.
