West Ham now face competition from Newcastle and Southampton for Sampdoria centre-back Omar Colley according to a report from Telenord.

Sampdoria News claimed last month that Hammers boss David Moyes is keen to bring the 27-year-old to the London Stadium this summer.
It now seems that West Ham’s task of signing Colley will be far from straightforward, however.
Telenord reckon Newcastle and Southampton want to sign the Gambian defender as well. And Sampdoria will allegedly demand around €15 million (£13 million) for the centre-back.
We desperately need a new centre-back this summer. And Colley would have been perfect for us.
Stats
In 31 Serie A appearances for Sampdoria last season, Colley averaged 1.4 tackles, 1.9 interceptions, 4.8 clearances and 0.7 blocks per game. He also won 2.8 aerial duals per game on average during those outings (Who Scored).
With his powerful and imposing physique, Colley seems to be ideally suited to the robust nature of the Premier League.
£13 million would be truly exceptional value for the 27-year-old.
As we all know too well, however, we are skint. So the likelihood is that either Newcastle or Southampton will end up signing Colley instead of us.
And we will once again end up losing further ground on those in and around us in the Premier League table.
