West Ham break season ticket record and have sold more than any other Premier League club ahead of historic attendance.
West Ham fans continue to make a mockery of ill-informed predictions from rivals after a new record summer at the London Stadium.
Many rival fans and some pundits predicted West Ham would struggle to fill the London Stadium when they moved from their beloved Upton Park in 2016.

But even the turbulent first couple of seasons in Stratford – where more column inches were written about the stadium than the team – has failed to discourage supporters.
Indeed West Ham fans are redefining the word loyal.
Despite entering what will be a 43rd year since their last major trophy, Hammers fans continue to follow the club in huge numbers through thick and thin.

Three years ago West Ham set a new club record by selling all 54,000 available season tickets of the then 60,000 capacity (whufc.com).
It was the fourth season in a row West Ham had sold out their season ticket allocation. And it meant the Hammers had the second most season ticket holders in England behind only the mighty Manchester United.
Well now it is the Hammers who are the top dogs.

Because this summer has seen West Ham break the season ticket record and have sold more than any other Premier League club ahead of the historic attendance against Man City.
West Ham have raised the capacity of the London Stadium to 62,500 – with plans to eventually make it 66,000 – and the season opener against Man City is sold out.
And now West Ham insider Sean Whetstone, who has connections at the club, has confirmed the impressive figures on Twitter.

“West Ham have a record 55,000 season ticket holders this season – the highest number of season ticket holders of any Premier League club,” Whetstone said.
“The Hammers will also break the club attendance record tomorrow with a sell out of new London Stadium capacity of 62,500 expected.”
West Ham might not always be able to compete with the best on the pitch. But when it comes to support, the Hammers take some beating.
‘They’ll never fill it” they said.
