West Ham boss David Moyes praised Kurt Zouma for his display against Manchester United yesterday.
The 26-year-old centre-back was brought to the London Stadium by Hammers boss David Moyes during the latter stages of the summer transfer window for just under £30 million.
He already looks like a fantastic addition to the West Ham squad.
Zouma is dominant in the air, quick along the ground and plays with a real kind of enthusiasm that makes him ideally suited to this West Ham team.
The France international proved his worth again yesterday. He really was very good, as he was against Dinamo Zagreb.
Moyes praised Zouma for his display against Manchester United
The Hammers boss spoke to reporters after yesterday’s defeat to Manchester United at the London Stadium.
The Scot singled out Zouma for praise, as quoted by Football.London:
“I thought Kurt Zouma was very good. I think his all-around performance, his strength he did a great job for us and we’re trying to challenge the teams getting talked about winning the Premier League. I think Kurt will help us do that and I think that overall the team today challenged a really good team to see if we could maybe push it and get closer to them.”
Moyes is spot on. Zouma really will take us to another level as a football team.
£30 million for his services could end up looking like a real snip.
Zouma already looks right at home:
The Frenchman has already cemented himself in the West Ham starting XI. Hopefully he will continue to get better and better as the season goes on.
