West Ham ace Mark Noble has shared what he told Jesse Lingard after the Manchester United player claimed a penalty following a strong challenge from the skipper.

The Hammers beat Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford in the Carabao Cup third round last night.
On the whole, West Ham deserved their win. We could have scored three or four without being so profligate in the final 10 minutes.
A win is a win though.
One interesting side note was Mark Noble clashing with Jesse Lingard midway through the first-half.
Lingard spent the second-half of last season on loan at the London Stadium and he was a huge hit. The 28-year-old returned to Manchester United in the summer, however.
Jesse broke the West Ham fans’ hearts hearts on Sunday scoring a late winner in the Premier League. We got our own back last night, however.

The Man United ace went down in the penalty area after being tugged by the Hammers skipper.
And Noble shared with reporters what he told his former teammate, as quoted by Football.London:
“That’s football, he dived and I told him off for screaming, funnily enough, he didn’t really do it at our place but he does it here.”
We love Noble’s honesty.
There is clearly a big six bias in the Premier League so it would be no surprise if the managers of said clubs urge their players to go down inside the penalty box.
It gives the referee a decision to make at the very least.
Luckily for us, John Moss wasn’t fooled last night.
Jesse Lingard is a great player, and an honest one at that. He proved that with us last season.

It would be a real shame to see him start diving after returning to Manchester United. Let’s hope it was just a one-off incident.
