Vladimir Coufal has absolutely raved about Tomas Soucek, describing his West Ham teammate as ‘incredible’ and ‘unbelievable’, as quoted by the Evening Standard.

The Hammers signed Soucek from Slavia Prague in the summer of 2020 for around £13.5 million (The Guardian).
The 25-year-old really impressed during an initial loan spell at the London Stadium.

And he has already established himself as somewhat ofd a cult hero at West Ham.
Soucek has scored 11 goals in 39 games for the Hammers (Transfermarkt). He has eight Premier League goals to his name so far this season – more than any other midfielder in the top flight excluding penalties.
Tomas Soucek receives huge praise from Vladimir Coufal
The Czech Republic international is so vitally important to David Moyes. It could be argued that he, alongside Declan Rice, is the first name on the Scot’s team-sheet.
Vladimir Coufal has outlined just how good Soucek is, as quoted by the Evening Standard:

“He is incredible. I have known him for a long time, so I know he can still get better and better because his physical attributes are unbelievable. I have to say it’s hard to defend against a player like him and I hope he will stay here for a long time. Soucek is my best friend in the Czech Republic so he has been very, very helpful to me since I arrived at West Ham, and I’m very grateful to him.”
That really is a rather bold, prediction from Coufal. Soucek has been truly exceptional for West Ham over the past 13 months.
And the prospect of him getting even better really is an exciting one for West Ham fans.
Let’s just hope that the Czech star keeps his down and continues working hard. There is no reason why he won’t do just that. Soucek is as humble, down to earth and hard working as they come.
And we should think ourselves very lucky to have him at West Ham.
