Trevor Sinclair has taken to Twitter in response to Jim White’s ridiculous criticism of the West Ham fans today.
In other news…Sky Sports make West Ham transfer wish-list claim and it’s absolutely baffling
White has been a long standing supporter of David Sullivan and David Gold and how the duo have run the Hammers over the past decade.
The Scot is so out of touch with reality, however. And he has no understanding of how bad the tension is between the fans and the board.
We barely avoided relegation last season. West Ham still earned £113.5 million from their league finish, oversees TV income and commercial revenue (Planet Football).
The owners continue to plead poverty, however. This was after promising that we would be able to compete financially with the big boys after we had moved to the London Stadium from Upton Park.
The promises of success have quickly turned into a nightmare, however.
We have no money to spend this summer, whilst other clubs in and around us in the table continue to strengthen their respective squads.

How can it be right that Moyes says he wants to build a young an exciting squad and then the owners sanction the sale of one of our brightest prospects? It truly is absolute madness.
White clearly doesn’t get this though.
He embarked on a rant aimed at West Ham fans on talkSPORT this morning…
Jim White’s comments obviously enraged the Hammers faithful.
And luckily for us, a West Ham legend stood our corner. Trevor Sinclair responded to the talkSPORT host on Twitter:
Well said Trevor. At least somebody gets it.
Our club will never make any progress under Sullivan and Gold. That much is obvious.
And football journalists like Jim White, if we can call him that, only make matters and tensions between fans a whole lot worse.
