According to a report from the Sun, Harry Kane has suffered an injury in training whilst away on international duty. And that will be a big blow for Jose Mourinho ahead of next weekend’s clash with West Ham.
The 27-year-old Spurs ace is undoubtedly one of the very best strikers in world football. If not the best.
Kane has scored 196 goals in 295 games in all competitions for Tottenham.
Spurs welcome West Ham to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium next weekend.
And the Sun claims that Kane will miss tonight’s game against Belgium after picking up an injury in training with England.
He is allegedly being left out of the squad as a ‘precaution’.
So Kane clearly still has a chance of being fit to play against the Hammers next Sunday. But considering his record with injuries, Jose Mourinho will undoubtedly be concerned.
And this news comes after the Daily Mail recently reported that Sergio Reguilon is a doubt for the game against West Ham.
David Moyes has guided his team to two consecutive Premier League victories. The Hammers are currently flying high, and will undoubtedly fancy their chances of taking something away from their clash with Tottenham next weekend.
And f Kane and Reguilon are not fit to play, our chances of doing just that will drastically increase.
