Tomas Soucek raved about his West Ham United teammate Declan Rice, when speaking to the club’s official website.

The 26-year-old has had a huge impact at the London Stadium since joining the Hammers from Slavia Prague initially on loan in January 2020.
Soucek’s winning mentality, imperious work ethic and never say die attitude on the pitch has helped transform West Ham into the incredibly solid team we have become.

One of the key features to the Hammers’ fine Premier league form this season has been the partnership forged by Soucek and Declan Rice in the middle of the park.
The Czech Republic and England internationals have a telepathic understanding with one another and they work so well together.
It could be argued that there isn’t a stronger central midfield partnership in the Premier League at the moment.
Tomas Soucek a huge fan of Declan Rice
When Tomas goes forward Dec sits back and vice-versa.
Soucek spoke to WHUFC.com and shared how much he loves playing alongside Rice:

“Declan and myself both are more like No6s, but it’s about the balance between us. It’s the best for us that we are both box-to-box midfielders, and when one of us goes to attack, the other covers the pitch. We are both similar, like No6 or No8 together, but we’ve found our way of how we can help the team. It’s great to play next to him.”
The way in which Soucek and Rice have dove-tailed this season really has been impressive.
We need both of them to be on top form against Manchester United this evening.
And if Soucek and Rice produce their best stuff at Old Trafford, West Ham will be more than capable of getting a result against Man United.
