David Moyes will be running a close eye over his West Ham players during pre-season with the Premier League campaign now looming large.

The Hammers will be competing in Europe as well this season so Moyes will need to utilise all of his players if he is to guide his side to success on all fronts.
The Scot’s priority will be to bring some new faces through the door at the London Stadium before the season starts.

He will also be trying to get the best out of his current crop of players.
But which ones have a lot to prove?
Three West Ham players who need to make a statement to Moyes
Issa Diop
The 24-year-old impressed during his debut Premier League campaign with the Hammers.
He has really struggled recently, however.
This is a big season for Diop. Will he fulfil his undoubted potential? Or will he be moved on next summer? This is a really big pre-season campaign for the former Toulouse ace.
Said Benrahma

The enigmatic 25-year-old joined West Ham last summer from Brentford on loan. His move to the London Stadium was made permanent in January.
Despite the odd flash of brilliance, Benny didn’t really live up to his billing.
The Algerian has to prove to Moyes that he’s up for the challenge during pre-season because he could have a vital role to play for us during this upcoming campaign.
Mipo Odubeko
The young striker clearly has so much talent. The 18-year-old hasn’t quite proved himself at senior level yet, however.
With it looking likely that West Ham will sign just one striker this summer, Mipo could very well be Moyes’s third choice centre-forward for the 2021/22 campaign.

The teenager must score a few goals during pre-season and show the Scot that he is ready to mix it with the big boys at the very highest level.
