Gianluca Scamacca has been speaking to the Italian media about his start to life in England with West Ham United.

Scamacca is still yet to score a Premier League goal in five outings so far. However, he has bagged three goals in four UEFA Europa Conference League outings.

David Moyes’s handling of the Italy international has been questionable. He has eased him into action, giving him 20 minutes here and there in the Premier League.
We believe that we won’t see the best of Scamacca until he is playing regularly in the Premier League, and we’re sure that he will come good in the end…
Gianluca Scamacca opens up on life at West Ham
The Italian is still yet to make a big impression at the London Stadium.
Certainly not in the Premier League anyway.
And Scamacca told the Italian media how he’s settling into life at the London Stadium, as quoted by Tuttomercatoweb:

The acclimatisation is going well, the group is a quiet group, helpful, it was very easy. I’m getting by, now I’m also going to start studying to perfect it (his English) but I’m making myself understood.
Learning fluent English will undoubtedly help him.
We strongly believe that Scamacca needs more help from Moyes though.
The Scot should play to Scamacca’s strengths. He needs the wingers, whoever they are, played in alongside him. Much like Moyes should have set up with Sebastien Haller.
Hopefully Gianluca Scamacca comes good sooner rather than later. Whether David Moyes is ready to provide the Italian with the platform needed to succeed remains to be seen though.
