We quite simply cannot go on for much longer with Michail Antonio as our only recognised senior centre-forward.

Bringing a top-class forward to the London Stadium before the January transfer window slams shut will be absolutely vital to our hopes of challenging for a top four spot this season.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.

One striker who West Ham have been linked with consistently over the past 12 months is Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri and it appears as though we have reignited our interest in the Moroccan according to The Evening Standard.

The thing is though, the Hammers need a striker for here and now.

The fact that we are said to be scouting someone now who is at the Africa Cup of Nations is strange.

Surely we’ve had enough time over the past year to do our due diligence on En-Nesyri?

That clearly isn’t happening.

Signing En-Nesyri in the summer would be great. But the Hammers need a top-class striker now.
