West Ham took on Brentford in a pre-season friendly at the London Stadium today. And some Hammers fans took to Twitter, pleading with David Moyes to sign Bees ace Rico Henry this summer.

The Hammers are in desperate need of signing a new left-back this summer.

And if Moyes and the club’s owners weren’t aware of that fact before today’s game against Brentford, then they surely will be now.

Aaron Cresswell put in another atrocious display at left-back for West Ham.

Meanwhile, Rico Henry was quite simply superb for the visitors. The 23-year-old showed what it is to be a modern day full-back.

He defended with aplomb whilst proving to be a constant menace down the left-hand flank for the Bees.

Henry could be picked up for just £10 million this summer, according to Claret and Hugh.

We have already missed out on the likes of Eberechi Eze and Antonee Robinson. And missing out on Henry as well would be criminal.

He is young, hungry and supremely talented. In other words he has everything David Moyes is looking for.

And some West Ham fans pleaded with the Scot to bring Henry to the London Stadium this summer…
