According to a report from the Sun, West Ham boss David Moyes is eyeing a swoop for free agent Ryan Fraser this summer, and is prepared to pay the Scot £50k-a-week. Some Hammers fans have taken to Twitter in reaction to the speculation.

Moyes’s priority should be to sign at least two defenders this summer.

West Ham have already recouped around £7 million plus add-ons for Albian Ajeti and Jordan Hugill.

But the east London outfit will need to sell more players if Moyes is to bring in some of his key targets this summer.

If Felipe Anderson and Manuel Lanzini are moved on, the Hammers will surely be on the look-out for a new winger.

And Ryan Fraser could be an option for David Moyes, according to the Sun.

Stats

The 26-year-old struggled for form last season. He racked up one goal and four assists in 32 games for the Cherries (Transfermarkt).

The Scotland international was on fire the season before last, however, with seven goals and 14 assists in 38 Premier League outings for the south coast outfit (Transfermarkt).

So Fraser certainly has the potential and talent to make a difference for West Ham. He did leave Bournemouth in the lurch when his contract expired last season, however.
