Tim Sherwood thinks David Moyes disrespected Declan Rice
Moyes’s decision to bring on Noble backfired badly and we eventually lost the game to Manchester United.
We will never know if things would have been different if Rice took the spot-kick.
Sherwood criticised the decision by Moyes nevertheless, when speaking on Sky Sports today (September 25th, 2:40pm):

“I think it was a huge call. Declan Rice had the ball under his arm and for me it was a massive slap in the face for Declan. He wanted to take it.”
Declan Rice bounced back in brilliant fashion from last week’s disappointment with a fabulous display against Leeds today.
It was a real sign of his character. How lucky we are to have Rice.
Hopefully Moyes has learned from the decision he made last weekend.
