West Ham United boss David Moyes looks set fair for a long spell at the club.

That’s despite some fans still having reservations that he is the right man to lead West Ham forward.
Only a catastrophic double figure defeat at Manchester United tonight can drag West Ham back into the relegation picture.

Some West Ham fans not convinced by Moyes
Many supporters and pundits say West Ham should never have been embroiled in the battle against the drop given their squad.
And some feel Moyes took too long to sort West Ham’s issues out.
In reality, though, the win over Watford last time out means West Ham look home and hosed.
In the eyes of many Moyes deserves to be rewarded with time to implement his own vision for the Hammers.
Now Sky Sports’s self-styled ‘insider’ Kaveh Solhekol has lifted the lid on some of the noises coming from behind the scenes at West Ham.
And speaking in his Sky Sports column ‘The Insider’, Solhekol claims West Ham’s players and owners are big fans of the manager.

Sky Sports “insider” makes double claim which suggests Scot is set for long stay
“Not many people in football would argue that David Moyes does not deserve his £2million bonus for keeping West Ham in the Premier League,” Solhekol said on Sky Sports.
“Moyes does not always get the credit he deserves but he is making a real mark at the club.
“He is very popular with the players and he has an excellent working relationship with the owners…
“Re-appointing Moyes may not have been a popular decision. But overall you have to say West Ham’s owners made the right calls in December and January.”
Whether Moyes now gets the full backing of West Ham owners David Sullivan and David Gold remains to be seen.

And so it begins as ‘zero transfer budget’ rumours emerge
There are already murmurs coming from West Ham insiders Claret & Hugh – who have a direct line to the unpopular duo – that Moyes will have no money to spend this summer.
Cynics would suggest Moyes accepting such restrictions after narrowly avoiding relegation is exactly why the owners are so happy to keep him.
Other managers would demand a transfer kitty. Particularly if their side finished the season with the fourth worst defence in the division.
Moyes will have to raise his own funds through sales. And it remains to be seen if buyers will come forward for West Ham’s cast offs, many of whom are sitting on huge wages.
