Shock jock Adrian Durham took to Twitter last night to criticise West Ham for the prices of food and drink inside the London Stadium.
The Hammers lost 2-0 to Manchester City in our Premier League opener yesterday.
City, and Erling Haaland in particular, were dominant in every sense and despite a mini fightback for around 10 minutes during the second-half, West Ham were well outplayed.
David Moyes would have been really disappointed with his players and the Hammers would have been as well.
It wasn’t only the result that caused the West Ham fans’ anger yesterday, however…
Adrian Durham criticises West Ham for London Stadium prices
The Hammers incurred the wrath of the fans by putting up the prices of food and drinks ahead of the new season.
A pint of beer will now set you back £7.60 and it’s £4.50 for a coke.
In times like these, those price hikes are the last thing that the loyal West Ham fans needed.
And Adrian Durham took to Twitter last night to criticise the West Ham pay structure:
It’s a fair point from Durham.
Those prices really are extortionate to say the least.
The thing is though, the Hammers will get away with it. Tourists and day-trippers will pay those prices without a second thought.
It is something that needs looking at though and there should be regulations put in to stop further increases happening over time.
Adrian Durham hit the nail on the head after he watched West Ham vs Manchester City at the London Stadium yesterday. Those prices are just shocking.
