Scintillating Armstrong Okoflex was on fire for West Ham United’s U-23s this afternoon as Dmitri Halajko’s side ran riot against Manchester United.
The 19-year-old really is an incredibly exciting young talent and proved his quality once again today during West Ham’s Premier League 2 clash with Manchester United.
Okoflex arrived at the London Stadium from Celtic in the summer and he has made an immediate impact with the Hammers.
The lively forward looks like a real superstar in the making. Credit to David Moyes for having the foresight to bring him to West Ham.
Not only has he shone for the youth team but he also didn’t look out of place when playing for the senior team during pre-season.
This was his goal for the senior team during a friendly against Celtic:
Scintillating Armstrong Okoflex tears Manchester United U-23s apart
The teenager has been in brilliant form this season and he continued his sensational run with a hat-trick against Man United this afternoon.
Okoflex scored two penalties (one of which he won himself) and calmly slotted home a third from open play.
Okoflex now has eight goals and one assist to his name in nine games for the U-23s this season (Transfermarkt).
What an incredible talent we have on our hands here.
It is surely only a matter of time before David Moyes includes him in the first-team squad on a regular basis.
If he keeps up what he’s doing for the under-23s, the Scot surely won’t be able to ignore him.
Hopefully the 19-year-old continues to work hard because if he does, the world will be his oyster.
