Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is a big fan of Felipe Anderson’s explosiveness, according to a report from the Daily Star.

The Hammers’ Brazilian winger has been offered to the Gunners on a season-long loan for £5 million, according to the Mirror.
The 27-year-old was in really poor form for West Ham last season.
He racked up just one goal and four assists in 25 Premier League games (Transfermarkt).
Anderson really frustrated the Hammers fans, because we all know what he is truly capable of.
And the Daily Star reckon that Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta knows what a threat the South American can be as well. The Gunners chief is allegedly a big fan of Anderson’s explosiveness.
Considering the Spaniard’s background in the game, and having worked under the likes of Arsene Wenger and Pep Guardiola, it says a lot about Anderson’s talent that Arteta is a big fan of him.
Should he be given one more season to prove himself?
His work-rate and commitment was questionable as well. Some West Ham fans think Anderson will come good, but many believe he is just a luxury player who turns up when he wants.
Perhaps the 27-year-old is the kind of player who would actually flourish if he played for a team like Arsenal.
A move to the Emirates may give him license to play with more imagination. But let’s be honest here. If we decide to move Anderson on, why on earth are we selling Grady Diangana?
We cant afford to lose two left wingers. Andriy Yarmolenko or Jarrod Bowen can’t play on the left, so that would leave the injury prone Michail Antonio or Pablo Fornals as our only options.
Nathan Holland is of course another possibility, but he is far from proven in the top flight.
But moving Anderson and Diangana both on would reek of a lack of planning and ambition once again.
If the Brazilian does move to Arsenal, he would undoubtedly be a hit in north London. And it could very well once again be a case of giving up on a very talented player too soon.
