West Ham boss David Moyes has been offered the chance to sign Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham on loan, according to westhamfans.org.

The 57-year-old Scot desperately needs to bolster his attacking ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

Sebastien Haller and Xande Silva are Moyes’s only centre-forward options at the moment, aside from the versatile Michail Antonio of course.

Albian Ajeti and Jordan Hugill have both left West Ham. And the clock is ticking as Moyes continues to search for more firepower in attack.

And westhamfans.org claims they have been told that Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has offered Moyes Tammy Abraham on loan.

Timo Werner was brought to Stamford Bridge this summer for big money. And Abraham has his work cut-out if he is to retain his starting place ahead of the German.

Perhaps the four-capped England international needs to move away from Chelsea this summer if he is to achieve regular first-team football next season. A loan move away could in fact be very beneficial to his career.

And Abraham would be a very useful addition for West Ham.

Stats

The 22-year-old was in great form for Chelsea last season, with 15 goals in 34 Premier League games to his name.

Abraham has bags of pace, is a tireless and willing runner and he is very strong in the air.

The Chelsea hitman would provide real quality support and competition for Sebastien Haller. A loan deal would obviously be a short-term fix for West Ham.

But there surely wouldn’t be many Hammers fans who would be opposed to the idea of the 22-year-old joining David Moyes’s side on loan this summer.
